We are looking for an exceptional senior manager with demonstrable experience delivering in Quality Assurance and improvement. You will have a track record of setting vision and strategy, leading change, and transformation, developing a high-performance culture and successful partnership working. You will be passionate about improving outcomes for all learners, able to give strategic direction to schools and early years centres and to lead a team of equally dedicated professionals who support and challenge. You will also be able to demonstrate that your budget is fully committed on things that really make a difference to learners, including quality professional learning and support, fully embedding collaboration and empowerment at all levels of the system.
The post holder is required to hold current full GTCS Registration and will work with a team of Heads of Education, each of whom carry a geographical as well as a thematic remit, and are responsible to the Service Director for Education. The post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act .
