Location: Liskeard Office. Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 pro rata per annum plus commission. Role Purpose: The primary purpose of the Desk Sales Agent is to convert call volume coming into Wildanet into sales, driving positive revenue and maximising sales opportunities, as well as making outbound calls using warm or cold lead data to convert and maximise sales to achieve targets. This shall be across Consumer B2C and B2B sales calling into the main Sales IVR. Main Responsibilities: The Desk Sales Agents will manage the inbound call volume and call campaigns that have been allocated and convert leads that have come from pre-selling interest through our mass text customer campaigns. The successful candidates will maximise sales conversion and upsell and cross sell packages that match our customers’ needs and make success outbound calling attempts to achieve individual targets. Key Activities: While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include: Helping customers to make the move to Wildanet, making phone-based sales from inbound calls. Helping customers find pre-contract solutions and processing sales via web chat. Ensure all orders are processed efficiently & effectively using Wildanet ordering system. Follow up with customers to ensure they are fully updated with order / installation progress. Work closely with other members of the Wildanet Team and transferring customers to right departments when required. Ensuring quality and compliance standards. Meeting and exceeding operational sales targets consistently. Demonstrating and enforcing company standards and brand value. Essential Person Specification Knowledge: Basic IT Knowledge, Internet, and Social Networking understanding. Telecommunications experience is desirable. Customer experience call centre knowledge with a sales background is desirable. Skills/Attributes: Must have strong sales experience and be passionate about sales, with a desire to exceed all sales target set. Excellent computer skills, ability to multitask using multiple systems. Good telephone manner with an ability to build rapport quickly and effectively. Able to deal with different customer concerns, questions and objections ensuring that all interactions result in a positive experience for the customer regardless of the outcome of the contact. Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others. Customer / team centric Basic MS Office knowledge. Ability to take on tasks and complete in a timely manner and deliver as expected. Experience: Previous Sales experience Direct or In-Direct. Previous call handling experience. Qualifications: Good level of education, including literacy and numeracy skills. Circumstances: Variable shift patterns on a Rota basis. Shift patterns include: 9am- 5pm, 11am – 7pm. 1 in 4 weekend working will be required. Individuals will have to be resilient, with strong active listening skills.
