Your new role: We are now looking for Sub Agents to join the project. As a Sub Agent, you will be managing the construction of a section of works on a major highways project in St Neots.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Ensure accurate and detailed site records for all works: Implement a standardised system for maintaining site records. Digital tools like project management software can help keep everything organised and easily accessible.
2. Raise requisitions for plant and materials in a timely and accurate manner: Set up a timeline for requisitions and assign specific team members to monitor and manage this process. Regular check-ins can help ensure that requests are raised accurately and on time.
3. Capture and store quality records correctly: Create a centralised repository for quality records. Ensure that all team members know how to access and update these records properly.
4. Review designs and raise technical queries to the design teams: Schedule regular design review meetings with your team and the design teams. Use these sessions to discuss any technical queries and ensure everyone is on the same page.
5. Generate Non-Conformance Records and ensure prompt closure: Develop a clear process for generating and closing out Non-Conformance Records. Regular audits and follow-ups can help ensure that these are addressed promptly.
What you'll get in return
1. Full UK driving licence is required for our highways projects.
2. Degree in a Civil Engineering-related subject or HND in Civil Engineering with vocational training.
3. Knowledge of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
4. Professional Industry Qualification (either in progress or completed).
5. Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental management (SMSTS).
6. Relevant CSCS Card.
