If you like artisinal, organic and speciality breads, or have special dietary preferences, our bakery Nicholas & Harris bakery in Salisbury has you covered This is what you'll actually do As Nicholas & Harris's Operations Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our office operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while creating a welcoming and professional environment for employees and visitors alike. Your role will be varied, covering a range of essential administrative duties. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors, managing reception duties, coordinating meeting room setups, and ensuring customer visits run seamlessly – right down to organising visitor lunches and gifts. Beyond front-of-house responsibilities, you’ll manage office supplies, handle hot desk allocations, arrange taxis for employees and visitors, and support site events. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining compliance documentation, ensuring health & safety records, risk assessments, and audits are properly filed and accessible. You’ll support the finance team by verifying agency invoices, reconciling petty cash, and raising purchase orders. Additionally, you’ll assist with technical tasks, such as preparing and distributing key reports, logging customer complaints, and maintaining delivery records. Collaboration is key in this role, as you’ll work closely with different teams to ensure everything is organised and efficient. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative, solving problems, and adapting to shifting priorities with ease.
