Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 with incentives up to £10,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Registered Manager overseeing a brand-new residential children's home in Spalding, providing essential care and support for young people with learning disabilities and associated needs.
As part of a group of specialist children's homes, dedicated to supporting children with learning disabilities, ASD, and related conditions. We operate with an experienced, compassionate team that uses a therapeutic approach to create a homely, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

About the Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will lead the opening and management of a brand-new home for young people with learning disabilities. You'll be responsible for shaping an environment that nurtures the potential of the young people in our care, while ensuring the home operates in line with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

8. Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.

10. Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people can flourish.

12. Build positive relationships with residents and staff, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.

14. Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to staff, supporting their professional growth and development.

16. Work collaboratively with external partners to ensure young residents have access to education, training, and career development opportunities.

18. Uphold the Homes' ethos of prioritising the well-being and development of each child in our care.

Requirements:
19. QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (or commitment to obtain within 3 years of starting).
20. OR Registered Managers Award/NVQ 4 in Health and Social Care and Management, or another relevant management qualification (equivalent to the Level 5 Diploma).
21. At least 2 years of experience in a management role within residential care for children within the last 5 years.
22. At least 1 year of experience in line management or staff supervision in a care role within a relevant residential care setting.
23. Experience working within the Ofsted inspection framework.
