PMO Analyst (Portfolio Management & Assurance) - 12 month Secondment / Fixed Term Contract
£35,000 - £40,000 plus excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)

We're looking for a PMO Analyst to join our Portfolio Management & Assurance team within the transformation function. Your job? Making sure our change projects transform from the to-do list to operational successes. You'll oversee a collection of projects, keeping things on track and making sure they deliver what they're meant to, seamlessly.

What you'll do
1. Work closely with project and programme managers to understand and effectively report status of our transformation portfolio to senior leadership and exec level audiences.
2. Partner with programmes to provide guidance and support on adopting our agreed framework and processes, tailoring governance appropriately to different pieces of work.
3. Maintain and prioritize the portfolio plan, managing hotspots and dependencies.
4. Conduct assurance activities to identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
5. Join the dots on programme delivery applying an analytical mindset to identify key themes, risks, challenges, and support in putting in place corrective actions.
6. Support and advocate for the use of the new portfolio & project management tool.
7. Contribute to evolving and maturing best in class portfolio management processes at the Co-op, recognising and implementing ideas and opportunities to evolve our ways of working.
This role would suit people who have
1. Previous PMO experience or experience managing a portfolio of change activities.
2. Strong understanding of project management frameworks and PMO's role in delivering change.
3. Effective communicator with relationship-building skills at all levels.
4. Excellent analytical skills, able to interpret and present data at a high level.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a curious and proactive approach to improvement.
