Area Display Assistant - Northern Ireland Job Description Our talented display team is renowned for creating some of the most stunning windows and in-store displays in the retail industry. We are looking for an experienced Area Display Assistant to join our team in Northern Ireland, focusing on Fermanagh and Tyrone. This field-based role comes with a company car (travel expenses covered), and uniform allowance to ensure you stay up to date with the latest trends It’s a part time position working 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with additional days to be worked during seasonal window scheme changes. This totals an average contract of 27.5 hours per week. As an Area Display Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of in-store display strategies across stores within your assigned region. You will work closely with the Regional Display Manager to ensure that all displays effectively showcase our products, align with brand guidelines and enhance the customer experience. What else is involved? • Dressing & styling of the mannequins and display features within the Fashion & Home windows in a number of stores across your area. • Creating different seasonal looks in the window by installing new window schemes and equipment. • Following a programme of store visits in your area on a rolling 3 week schedule. • Working alongside others in your area as part of the regional display team, whilst also thriving on your own initiative. • Support the wider Display team with ad-hoc creative DIY tasks in preparation for seasonal window scheme changes. What are we looking for? • A valid UK driving licence is essential, as it’s a field-based position. • Previous experience in a Visual Merchandise / Display / Fashion related role. • Must be fashion trend-focused, with a creative background and an eye for what looks good. • Be hands-on with the willingness to get involved with simple DIY & creative tasks. • Having previous mannequin dressing experience is preferred. • A positive attitude, be self-motivated, and always aim for the best in everything you do. • A flexible approach is essential, as workload will fluctuate during each season and you’ll need to react efficiently to this. • A confident and positive communicator who is able to liaise and work with colleagues well. • Understanding the NEXT customer is key - Remember, they always come first About Us You know Next, but did you know we’re a FTSE-100 retail company employing over 35,000 people across the UK and Ireland.
