We are currently recruiting for a Housing Services Manager to join the team of a well-established housing organisation on an interim basis, offering hybrid working, experience in a reputable company, and the opportunity to create a positive impact. Housing Services Manager B37 area/ hybrid Monday to Friday/ 9-5 Interim - until March 2025 £pay rate negotiable ( equivalent of £55-62k per year perm) As a Housing Services Manager, you will be: Responsible for leading the delivery of customer focused services in the key service areas of Tenancy Management, Income Collection, Money Advice and Rent Control. Lead on delivery and implementation of the new Tenancy Policy Work in conjunction with colleagues in the Asset Management directorate to develop a robust Neighbourhood Management Strategy Continually seek to maximise income collection for the organisation, and sustain tenancies Be responsible for the accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and year end performance information, ensuring these are submitted on time Responsible for overseeing budget management of the communal utilities Responsible for delivery of the annual income key performance indicators, Provide leadership, management, direction and support to all managers and direct reports within the Housing Services Team Lead on the delivery and review of strategies, policies and procedures relating to your service area, ensuring that they incorporate best practice guidance and legislative requirements. To be successful in this Housing Services Manager role, you will need: Member of the CIH or other relevant professional body Experience of effectively leading and motivating teams and individuals to achieve high levels of performance Detailed knowledge of legislation and best practice in social housing Able to foster and maintain positive working relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders Experience of working in an income collection environment in social housing and leading a team in supporting maximisation of income through financial inclusion We would really like to speak to any Housing Managers, Head of Income, Head of Leasehold, Leasehold and commercial Manager, Rent and Service charge Manager, Money Advice Manager, Income Collection Managers.
