Night Support Worker - Complex Paediatric Package NR31 - Great Yarmouth £18.00/hour Part-Time Permanent 2 x 10.5-hour night shifts per week (21 hours total) Client-based care in the family home About the Role Harmony Healthcare Horizons is seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Night Support Workers to join a specialist team supporting an 8-year-old girl with complex medical and behavioural needs in her family home. You'll work as part of a small, consistent team delivering overnight 1:1 support, ensuring her safety, comfort, and wellbeing. This is a meaningful, rewarding role where you'll help a young person stay safely at home with her family and avoid more restrictive settings. What You'll Be Doing Monitoring and responding to non-invasive ventilation equipment overnight Supporting with personal care, continence, and repositioning Managing and de-escalating behaviours that challenge Communicating using non-verbal strategies (e.g. Signalong, Makaton ) Ensuring a calm, reassuring overnight presence Maintaining accurate care records and handover notes What You'll Need Experience in paediatric, LD, or complex care (essential) Training or willingness to complete: Non-invasive ventilation (CPAP/BiPAP) Epilepsy awareness Basic Life Support Behavioural support / de-escalation techniques Strong communication, patience, and emotional resilience Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply) Why Join Us?
