The role
As a People Capability Co-ordinator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will co-ordinate all aspects of the nuclear training and competency requirements across Babcock Clyde to assist in ensuring that the workforce is suitably qualified to carry out their roles in all applicable areas of the business.
Day-to-day, you’ll act as the point of contact for Babcock Clyde Nuclear training and competency requirements for both Babcock and MoD customers, providing support and guidance to all levels of the business with regards to the Nuclear requirements and responsibilities. Further responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with oversight of all administrative data entry into appropriate IT systems to ensure accurate data capture
2. Keep accurate and up to date Babcock records on progress of submissions, ensuring monthly Baseline reports from MoD are accurate post submission review and training updates.
3. Review of all submissions prior to processing within MoD procedures
4. Providing detailed information to Babcock Clyde departments on receipt of monthly Baseline reports from MoD identifying priority areas for action
5. Assisting with the delivery of Babcock Annual Training Plan and Late Training Requests including delegate lists, joining instructions, attendance sheets, training venues, visitor access notifications and evaluation processes.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and requires occasional onsite travel to Clyde Faslane on a weekly / monthly basis alongside home working arrangements.
Essential experience of the People Capability Co-ordinator
6. Great attention to detail
7. Highly organised with great communication skills
8. Computer literate with Excel to intermediate level
9. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is desirable but not essential
Qualifications for the People Capability Co-ordinator
10. National 5 in English and Maths or equivalent
