This contract provides a 24-hour emergency repair service. This post offers the opportunity to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota, which can potentially boost earnings by approximately £10k per annum, based on one week out of a four-week rota. Participation is optional and not mandatory.
About the role:
We are looking for an experienced plumber to join the team in Eastbourne. Working with Lewes and Eastbourne Councils on a variety of residential works, our team produces work to the highest standards and delivers outstanding customer service.
As a Plumber, you will be required to have experience in all areas of domestic maintenance plumbing: hot & cold water pipework, waste & drainage pipework, kitchen/bathroom/wet room plumbing installations & repairs, hot and cold water storage systems, and emergency leak repairs.
You will be a response and maintenance plumber dealing with supply pipework, waste & soil pipework, sanitaryware, kitchen appliances, tracing & fixing leaks, and renewing plumbing components.
Participate in call-out cover if and when required to ensure contract compliance & service user satisfaction for emergency repairs.
Role Criteria:
* UK Full driving licence
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent plumbing qualification
* Good communication skills
* IT literate
* Ability to use PDA
Desirable:
* G3 unvented hot water qualification
* Previous experience working in domestic housing
