Principal Accountabilities To provide a rapid and flexible service to customers for the repair of valves and other items of plant and equipment, within the scope of experience and training. To work within the scope of Quality Assurance, Safety and Job Procedures. In addition to workshop activities, to work on customer sites onshore, and offshore as instructed by the works manager or supervisor. To attend training courses relating to equipment, safety passport, and site induction as required. To complete all relevant paperwork, timely, and accurately, ie. daily work sheet, route card, site time sheet, etc. To be flexible to work a reasonable amount of overtime when necessary, to deal with urgent work. To ensure tools, equipment, and PPE are maintained and to keep workplace in a clean and orderly manner. Actively promote the company's core values within all work-based activities Skills And Knowledge Required Have a recognised Engineering apprenticeship/qualification Ability to use the range of workshop equipment. Good communication skills Ability to problem solve If required to work offshore technicians must complete a recognised Offshore Survival Course. Be aware of and work to Q.A. & Safety standards Working Conditions Workshop based Some work on customer sites in sometimes difficult and arduous conditions. Night-shift and weekend working may be involved. Working outside the local area may be required.
