Department Overview Learning Experiences & Innovation (LXI) is the ‘go-to’ service across the Exeter learning community in uplifting our students, academics, staff and partners to co-create a distinctive learning experience where every learner thrives. LXI consists of seven main units; Educator Development, Student Voice & Change, Learning Development, Learning Design, Experimentation & Innovation; Programme Design & Quality Enhancement, and Educational Policy, Quality & Standards. The teams work alongside and in support of several portfolios focussed on the University’s key strategic aims (Online Education, Education Strategic Delivery, Innovation Piloting and Scaling, and Taught Portfolio) and the priorities of its Faculties (Environment, Science and Economy; Health and Life Sciences; Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences). Summary of the role The LXI Portfolio Officer will be responsible for supporting the delivery of significant education and student experience initiatives to achieve the goals of Faculties and actively support the delivery of Strategy 2030. This role will collaborate with a wide range of teams across Faculties including the Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellors Education and Student Experience and Senior Education Partners to ensure the effective integration of key institutional initiatives into the Faculty, with a focus particularly initially on Curriculum for Change.
