We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our growing team here at WCF!
This is a standalone and diverse role within our “WCF Chandlers” business, our largest fuel distribution business within the WCF Ltd portfolio. Based in Grantham, Lincolnshire, WCF Chandlers have been proudly heating homes and fuelling businesses for over 80 years.
As the credit controller, you will be responsible for:
* Speaking with customers regarding account status to ensure there is no overdue debt
* Responding to credit requests and reviewing prospective customers credit reports
* Liaising with credit insurers COFACE to ensure accounts are insured and have sufficient limits
* Handling DD payments and queries, contacting customers to discuss failed payment and resolve issues
* Managing and maintaining customer credit limits, gaining increase or reducing where applicable
* Reviewing and managing customer contact details where necessary to support credit control
* Ensuring a tidy and up to date ‘Aged Debt’ process
* Responding to liquidator letters where necessary regarding company dissolution
This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week, during our core operating hours Monday to Friday.

* Previous credit control experience
* Exceptional communication skills
* Display a can-do-attitude
* Able to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* High level of attention to detail.
* A proactive and curious attitude towards work.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
* Good Microsoft Word and Excel as well as data analysis skills.
* Previous experience of working with a hybrid team would be advantageous.
