People Operations Manager

Description
Ampa are looking to add a People Operations Manager to their growing business operations (Ampa Group Services) division.
As the team lead, you'll be in charge of the delivery of the people aspects of the group strategy and culture; providing a dynamic infrastructure that continuously builds capability across the business. Influencing, coaching, impacting and delivering positive change through an outcome focussed approach that aligns to our growth ambitions.
What you will be doing:
* Leads the People Operations function developing strategies that continuously build people operational capability whilst in parallel enhancing the people experience and cultural ambitions.
* Manage the Senior and People Advisors partnering with stakeholders delivering an exceptional People Operations Experience.
* Be the SME for all people systems (including Cascade, Zest and our ATS, Pinpoint) and develop robust workflows that streamline processes, utilising People Systems and other technology.
* Explore opportunities that drive efficiency and leverage economies of scale to support business growth.
* Lead and participate in wider people and business projects, representing the people work stream.
* Accountable for the timely production of all people operations activities, engaging with other teams, including communication and leading the execution of employee benefits programmes.
What you will need:
* Lead and develop the People Operations team, continually building capability in line with business change.
* In conjunction with the Head of People Operations ensure our people operations teams and systems can continue to operate efficiently as the group scales.
* Work with the Head of People Operations in relation to procurement of key suppliers to the People team.
* Develop and maintain all current processes to ensure all are documented and understood by the team.
* Project Manage the cyclical activity informing timelines for People operations delivery.
* Ensure People Operations inbox is monitored and SLAs are met.
* Perform annual audits in relation to people files ensuring compliance with audit checks and GDPR.
* Proactively troubleshoot to ensure excellence in people experience and monitor the performance and quality of outputs from the People Operations team.
* Implement continuous improvement processes to ensure that all people operational systems are fit for purpose.
* Lead the development of innovative working methods, maximising the use of technology and enabling the end user.
* Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and leaders in the business.
* Provide direction, guidance and upskilling to the People Operations team, ensuring they are multi-skilled across all areas of the People Operations function.
* Coach and mentor others, actively developing the People Operations team with opportunities that are stretching that will provide them with the experience to grow and progress.
* Support the business in driving and managing change (systems, processes and new ways of working) effectively, using PS and process improvement tools.
* Lead/manage the design and delivery of meaningful MI using people and other business systems to facilitate informed decision making – Pulse, dashboards.
* Lead the management, version control and communication of People Operations SOPs, People system configuration changes and updates.
* Liaise with the recruitment & member services on people hires from onboarding to offboarding.
* Proactively plan and manage people services cyclical activities.
