Together, we create magical moments for over 500,000 guests each year, from the electrifying energy of Royal Ascot to exclusive private events.We are seeking a talented Events Planning Manager to join our fantastic teamTo lead the planning of our race day dining and high-end prestigious events at Ascot Racecourse and external events, serving both 1711 by Ascot and Sodexo Live In this dynamic role you will manage a dedicated Events Co-ordinator who will support you in your successWhat you'll doManage Fine Dining and 1711 by Ascot Events planning, delegating workload effectively.Communicate with the Fine Dining Operations team to ensure proper information sharing.Coach and mentor the Events Co-Ordinator and attend regular one-on-one meetings.Advise the food production team on menus required for each race day.Liaise with kitchen, cellar, and marketing teams to meet client needs and produce collateral.Ensure accurate management of client and sales information through the system.Manage table plans, create menu tasting notes, and develop effective communication with internal and external clients.Provide administrative support one all race days for fine dining, handle inquiries, and assist with invoicingFor a full list of responsibilities please review the job description attached.What you'll bringEssentialCommitted to deliver against Ascot Racecourses core values: elegant, original and upliftingExceptional attention to detailAbility to communicate effectively across all levelsGood customer service skills, polite telephone manner, excellent written communicationKnowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPointFlexible approach to working hours especially on race daysAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritise information in an extremely busy environmentDesirableExperience of working within Events/Hospitality industryExperience in customer service or administration lead roleExperience of People ManagementWhat we offer:Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it's a chance to be part of something greater.
