Citi are looking to hire a Collateralized Loan Obligation (CLO) Structurer at the Director level to join the highly successful Spread Products business in London.
By joining Citi's CLO business, you will be a key member of the desk focusing on arranging, structuring, distributing and syndication of CLOs for asset managers in the EMEA region. We are looking for someone to join that team, who will lead the structuring (modelling deals, rating agency processes, deal documentation, etc.) and the deal syndication/distribution. You will ultimately be able to execute a deal from start to finish.
What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:
* Deal captain on Euro CLO primary transactions. The person will be supported by junior members of the team and will ultimately be responsible for:
* - Running the modelling of CLO deals for both investor runs and rating agency analysis
* - Leading discussions on legal documentation for new deals
* - Leading the syndication and distribution process on each transaction
What we will need from you:
* To be considered for this role, you will need to have prior sell side CLO structuring experience, as well as knowledge of CLO modelling and rating agency processes.
* A history of building and maintaining relationships with various partners including traders, salespersons, bankers as well as clients.
* Experience in drafting, analysing and negotiating legal documents (termsheets, offering memorandums), in addition to strong communication skills with an ability to build manager and investor relationships.
* An understanding of how to assess the risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
* Strong analytical/modeling skills with high attention to detail.
* Degree educated, ideally in Maths/Science/Engineering/Economics/other numerically based financial/economics based degree or law school.
