The successful candidate will join the Project Team working on the Mournes Project. This project is about adopting a more holistic approach to the protection and management of the public and charitable estate in the High Mournes and environs. The project will provide the evidence base and frameworks necessary to inform and start delivery of a transformative and sustainable landscape-scale management plan to protect the High Mournes and environs for future generations. Hours: 22.5 hours, working over 3 days Duration: This is a fixed term position for 6 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent position Salary: £26,832 pro rata Interview date: Wednesday 9th October 2024 What it's like to work here Youll be part of the Trusts internal consultancy: a flexible resource of specialist skills and expertise. As one of a multidisciplinary team of experts, including curators, fundraisers, building surveyors and project managers, youll be working with others to help make things happen. Your contractual place of work will be the National Trust office at Rowallane, Saintfield. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. Well talk about this in more detail at interview, but you should expect to be at a National Trust site for 4060% of your working week. What you'll be doing The successful candidate will be working alongside the project manager and will support a variety of workstreams as the project progresses through each stage. Activities will include amongst others, data management and sharing, community engagement, project reporting, supporting procurement and budget management. The successful candidate will also participate as an active member of a passionate project team. As a project team we will be working collaboratively with a broad range of partners, external stakeholders and internal specialists so confidence with working across all levels of seniority is a must. The successful candidate will be expected to be comfortable working in a front facing role with high visibility.
