Position: Sales Engineer / Senior Industry: Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Location: Nottingham (hybrid) Overview: We are recruiting for an ambitious Sales Engineer to join this international Mechanical Engineering Group with UK office based near Nottingham. The company are very dynamic and a world wide leader in their field so this opportunity will suit an experienced Sales Engineer looking to join an exciting company and develop Responsibilities include: Developing customer relationships across the UK Maximising existing customers as well as developing new business and customers including OEM and distribution Working closely with customers providing product support in association with technical / engineering teams Reporting directly to the Sales Director Responsible for promoting products to customers Develop a multi-channel approach Work closely with internal and external teams regarding market and product insights, trends, data and competitor analysis Continuously improving customer experience Work closely with Marketing - publications, marketing material etc Travel across the territory - meeting customers, trade shows etc (approx 30 - 40%) Weekly reporting and CRM system management Candidate Profile: Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Business related subject At least 3 years’ B2B sales or account management experience Experience of industrial / mechanical engineering sector Proven track record of sales and customer success in different channels - direct, OEM and distributor Excellent communication and negotiation skills Customer focused Happy to travel across the UK as required (approx 30%) Ability to work well in a close team environment as well as independently Apply: dbrownxbconsultants.com (or apply through LinkedIn) 020 7803 4341 www.xbconsultants.com
