Year Group: Year 5 (One-to-One Support)
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Level 2 Learning Support Assistant to join a dedicated team at a primary school in Birkenhead. This full-time role focuses on providing one-to-one support to a Year 5 student, helping them to reach their full potential and thrive in a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to the assigned Year 5 student to enhance their learning experience.
- Assist with the preparation and delivery of lessons, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes the student's confidence and independence.
- Monitor the student's progress and communicate effectively with the class teacher regarding their development.
- Support the social and emotional needs of the student, promoting positive behaviour and interactions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
- Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and a caring approach to supporting diverse learning needs.
- A genuine commitment to helping children succeed in their education.

As a teaching assistant you'll be expected to:
