We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the Frontier team, based at Ruddington, on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for all maintenance of the plant, assisting in the operations of the site to meet commercial requirements whilst maximising efficiency and upholding quality, health, safety and environmental standards. You will ideally have experience within a heavy plant industry, with experience fault-finding and repairing pneumatic systems, hydraulics, overhead cranes, elevators, gear boxes, sensors and/or conveyors. The Benefits Competitive salary 25 days holiday per calendar year with option to purchase 5 more days Dedicated Learning & Development team to support you and your career Employee Assistance Program providing 24 hours support & advice in areas such as health and wellbeing for yourself, your family & friends (up to 5 people in total) Increased Maternity, Paternity & Adoption leave benefits for eligible employees Life Assurance scheme and pension plan with employer contributions of up to 7% Cycle to Work Scheme, employee retail discount scheme and free eye test vouchers About You Qualified Mechanical Engineering whether its with City & Guilds or NVQ Experience of working on a heavy mechanical plant Qualified to work with electrics up to 415 volts (17th Edition desirable but not required) Able to work outdoors, at height and in confined spaces Experience in supervising/managing others with the organisational skills to plan own and others workloads Adaptable and able to work and manage under pressure and work towards deadlines Ability to work cooperatively with others and without supervision, at times Knowledge of three phase electrical systems and understanding of electrical drawings and programmable logic control (PLC) Your Role As a Maintenance Engineer your role will involve: Fault diagnosis and repair of both mechanical and electrical systems Following safe ways of working, completing risk assessments Identifying root cause and resolving issues Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks as per PPM Schedule Identifying Maintenance spares required and liaising with suppliers Routine maintenance, repairs fabrication, troubleshooting on all aspects of production equipment Operating flexibly when working with production staff Assisting with outside contractors when bought in to install or service equipment Being aware at all times of the safety hazards to yourself and others About Us Frontier is a successful and growing business.
