This role is a hands-on role, and you will be responsible for a range of activities within the Facilities arena. You’ll be involved in carrying out practical tasks such as painting and decorating, building desks, office chair repairs, weekly fire alarm tests, water temperature checks, to name a few Other key responsibilities include: Working closely with our contractors ensuring all activities are completed safely and in a timely manner Support maintaining the PPM schedule. Ensure all general maintenance duties are completed and documented within prescribed timescales. Support the RAMS process (incl. assessment of and filing) Understand and adhere to the Cabot policies and procedures. Support with and promote Health, Safety (and Wellness) standards and practices. Complete the Cabot monthly and Annual H&S Audits, carrying out any remedial actions where applicable. Assist with routine Risk Assessments and any remedial actions required. Support the DSE assessment and the Accident reporting processes with furniture relocations or adjustments etc. when required. Requirement for Ad hoc out of office hours for contractor works and/or project requirements We are looking for someone with: Previous facilities maintenance experience preferred but not essential. Someone with hands on and practical experience Experience working with third party clients/customers preferred but not essential. Good communication and computer skills (Excell/Spreadsheets/ Word/Outlook) What happens next?
