Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Calibre Search are working alongside a major UK-based multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy who have been providing high-quality services to their clients for over 120 years. Their growing Newcastle office has opportunities for expansion to meet the current healthy forward workload generated by the impetus for growth in the UK within the commercial, retail, industrial and housing sectors.
Due to this continued growth, their specialist Infrastructure Team are looking to add a Senior level Engineer to help provide sustainable development infrastructure solutions to mainly private sector clients in both the UK and overseas. The team also works closely with other office disciplines to provide integrated solutions on high profile multi-disciplinary projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Experience in highway and drainage design with a working knowledge of UK design standards.
2. Ability to balance several projects and meet project timetables.
3. Experience in highways, external works and drainage for large scale distribution centre developments and residential schemes.
4. Manage projects, providing support, mentoring and guidance to less experienced colleagues.
5. Review documents, designs and drawings to ensure consistent high quality and compliance with design standards, industry best practice, contractual obligations and client expectations.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of five years' experience with an aspiration to gain Incorporated or Chartered status.
2. Private sector experience and working knowledge in the use of PDS / Civil 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD and AutoTrack.
3. A full UK Drivers license.
