Black Country Women's Aid (BCWA) is an established charity working across the Black Country and wider West Midlands providing accommodation and community support services to victims of domestic abuse, sexual abuse and human trafficking. Services range from advocacy, civil remedies, support in court, individual and group support and access to a range of therapeutic interventions. All services are client and needs-led.
The Therapeutic and Wellbeing Services:
Our Therapeutic and Wellbeing Services consists of an experienced team of counsellors and associates providing a range of modalities to counsel all genders of domestic and sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. Counselling is provided both face-to-face and online and up to 12 sessions are provided. The service manages a waiting list as demand can be high. Wellbeing services is a further offer that builds on a victim's confidence and assists to building a state of being healthy, happy, and comfortable, both physically and mentally.
This service strives to instil trust and confidence recognizing that we can never change what has happened, we can help to shape a positive future.

Job Title: Adult Counsellor
Positions available: 15 hours (2 days per week) weekdays.
Salary: £30,322.50 (FTE), £12,129 (pro rata)
