Manage a varied caseload, including complex development applications and appeals, ensuring accurate and technically correct reports. Ensure planning applications and appeals align with service and business plan targets, complying with relevant guidance and legislation. Prepare reports and recommendations for Council Committees and handle matters under delegated powers. Prepare and present evidence at appeals and public inquiries. Assist and support Technical Assistants, contributing to team target achievement and providing training where necessary. Respond to enquiries and complaints under guidance and represent the Service at meetings with other entities. Support Council initiatives, including work on the Local Plan. Handle calculation and validation of planning application fees as necessary. Adhere to health and safety regulations, data protection, and information security policies.
