Description Are you interested in playing a key role in supporting Revenue Scotland to deliver new devolved taxes? Revenue Scotland’s New Devolved Taxes Programme is looking for a Project Manager to lead on the day-to-day management of specific projects and workstreams within the Programme. The Project Manager will be responsible for the scoping, planning, risk management and the quality of products and outputs to support delivery. The post holder will engage with internal and external stakeholders to establish requirements and manage deliverables for specific projects and workstreams within the programme to ensure the safe landing of the new taxes. Responsibilities Responsibilities Lead on a range of projects and workstreams using appropriate project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to deliver outcomes to time, quality, and cost. Lead multi-disciplinary teams and set priorities for yourself and others to deliver outcomes in line with project and programme objectives. Support overall programme delivery and facilitate effective decision making through collation of plans and managing risks and dependencies in conjunction with other areas of the programme and through adherence to the authorised framework. Lead on collation of options appraisals to support project and programme deliverables and objectives, providing a strong evidence base for decisions through comprehensive and accurate analysis and robust recommendations. Create, manage, and maintain all required project artefacts to support delivery. Report on project status through established programme reporting mechanisms to demonstrate progress, facilitate decision making, provide assurance and highlight areas of concern. Qualifications Qualifications Project Manager should have, or be closely working towards a professional level qualification, such as APM’s PMQ, PMI’s PMP and Axelos’ Prince 2. Our hybrid working principles require you to attend your assigned office, Victoria Quay, Edinburgh at least 2/3 days each month. Our hybrid approach supports a blend of home and workplace working, this should be agreed with the line manager to achieve the right balance between collaboration, in-person engagement and flexibility.
