What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Assistant HSE Engineer, you will:
* Support the Site Management Team in implementing the 3 P Plan (People, Plant, and Processes).
* Develop and implement project-specific HSE procedures and arrangements.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and legislative HSE requirements, reporting non-compliances as necessary.
* Assist in the development of pre-construction information and construction phase safety plans, ensuring compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM).
* Assist in contractor management, including selection, review of method statements and risk assessments, and site monitoring.
* Provide guidance on all HSE matters, including induction training and monthly performance reporting.
* Conduct regular HSE walks, report findings, and coach the team on best practices.
* Collaborate with internal teams and regulatory bodies to ensure ongoing HSE improvement and compliance.
(Training will be provided on all of the above)
What You Could Have:
* A keen interest in Health & Safety operations with some sort of previous experience in a role where Health & Safety is something you have engaged with.
* You could have some sort of qualification in Health and Safety (Not required).
* An interest in developing a career and stepping foot into swiftly developing environment.
