Key responsibilities
In this Employability Lecturer role, your responsibilities will include:
1. Teach Skills for Employment / Employability / Skills for Career Success qualifications to a range of classes across the college, learning centres and workplaces as required.
2. Actively participate in all communications with parents, employers and stakeholders as appropriate to the target audience and programme requirements.
3. Undertake training and development as required for the role.
4. Uphold the College's policies and procedures, including those for Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding, and student discipline as required.
5. Play an active part within the Skills For Employment delivery team.
Skills & experience
1. Right to Work & Enhanced Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service.
2. Experience of working in a customer-focused environment.
3. Maintaining accurate records, both paper and computer-based.
4. Maintaining administrative systems and procedures.
5. 2-5 Years Experience of Youth Working.
6. 2 Years Experience Teaching/Assessing young people.
7. Youth qualification to Level 3 or above.
8. Excellent leadership and management skills.
9. Excellent at managing challenging behaviour.
