Main duties of the job The Stroke Early Supported Discharge team covers an area of East Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire. Providing intensive stroke rehabilitation to those patients discharged from the acute wards but also from stroke clinics and emergency care. Responsibilities include clinical management of patients and completion of relevant paperwork. To contribute to the continued development and maintenance of efficiency and safety in the Stroke ESD team. To be flexible at times of increased capacity to the service. The Senior OT contributes to the provision, co-ordination, and development of OT services with the OT Team Leaders. Assists in training and supervising of other staff and students and participates in administrative and clinical functions of the Stroke ESD team as a whole.
