About the role: As a working foreman, you’ll be reporting to the Repairs Supervisor for day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. You’ll also be supporting the Repairs Supervisor by managing a small team, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that everyone is working effectively Supervision and Coordination: Overseeing the work of laborers and subcontractors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely Health and Safety: Maintaining health and safety standards on-site, ensuring all workers adhere to regulations Problem-Solving: Addressing any issues or disputes that arise on-site, and finding solutions to keep the project on track Training and Development: Providing guidance and training to junior team members to help them improve their skills Role Criteria: SOR Experience Damp and Mould Experience H&B experience Previous experience in Social Housing essential Provide own hand tools All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
