About You and the Role:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen within Draycott. We are looking for a Community Care Supervisor to take the next step in their career. The purpose of this role is to ensure our Draycott clients receive the best quality of care and support to keep them safe and comfortable as we deliver their bespoke care in their own homes. The Care Community Supervisor will ensure that Draycott’s policies and procedures are delivered to the best of our standards and that the Draycott 4 Cs are being delivered in the everyday workings of our Carers and Nurses.
The ideal candidate will have the necessary experience from being a Carer in the domiciliary sector, or as a Care Coordinator, Supervisor, or in another administrative role, and ideally, be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
They will be highly organised and show good communication skills; this, together with a calm and caring manner, are vital for this important role in our company.
Key Duties:
* To support carer-facing activity including training, competency assessments, supervisions, conducting follow-ups, and inducting new packages.
* To support client-facing activity including field complaints, quality checks, audits, kits reviews, care plan updates, and delegated activity by the clinical team.
* To support our Quality Improvement plans.
* To coach and develop the clinical capability of our field-based staff.
* Step into urgent packages of care to support mobilisation or client retention. Provide cover for key business activities, including On Call out of hours service as part of a regular rota.
Previous Experience / Skills / Role Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years hands-on care experience.
* Must hold an NVQ Level 3 (ideally Level 4) in Health and Social Care qualification.
* You will also need to hold the on-call duty, on rotation with the team.
* While predominantly daytime work, we do need someone who can be flexible to meet early or late starts, or occasionally at the weekend.
* In-depth knowledge of care planning.
* Experience in care planning and carrying out risk assessments.
