About Finance
The Financial accounting team aims to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting within agreed deadlines with clear visibility over spend and ensuring that any financial risks have been mitigated. The team consists of an AP function that processes over 50,000 transactions per year. In this evolving environment, the team continues to explore the most efficient way to carry out their day-to-day tasks.
Job Description
Purpose of the Role
To directly manage the AP and Expenses function whilst supporting the Head of Accounting & Compliance in ensuring that any tasks associated with finalizing the financial accounts have been performed accurately and within deadlines. The candidate should be located near the Leeds site. However, occasional travel to other UK sites may be required.

Qualifications
The Skills:
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with experience in using SAP (ERP system), MS Excel, and excellent communication skills. What we need from you?
* ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent), ICAEW qualified accountant with experience in producing Statutory accounts and an understanding around company tax returns
* Strong background in month-end closing procedures and Financial Accounting
* Excellent communication skills
