Job summary
We are seeking to recruit a practitioner psychologist to join our learning disability service for hours a week.
The successful candidate will work as part of the psychology team in the adult community learning disability service.
We can also consider applicants on a Band 7 - 8a Preceptorship.

Main duties of the job
The service is a friendly and well established multi-disciplinary team. You will provide a psychological service to adults with learning disabilities both directly and indirectly with families and carers, working collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to meet the needs of people with learning disabilities. There is a strong ethos of multi-disciplinary working and trauma informed care. You will be supported and encouraged to develop your areas of interest and will have access to CPD opportunities and support to develop professionally.

Qualifications
Essential
1. Doctorate level training in clinical or applied psychology, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical, psychometrics, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology as accredited by the BPS, or a BPS Statement of Equivalence.
2. Accreditation from a recognised Psychological Therapy body

3. Training in clinical supervision
