Come and Join Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust, where we offer a wide variety of challenging and rewarding roles within a supportive, innovative and dynamic work environment!
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to come and join our team on our Female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Griffin Ward, based at the Herschel Prins Centre, Glenfield Hospital Site Leicester.
Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), such as Griffin ward, are specialised wards that provide inpatient mental health care, assessment and comprehensive treatment to individuals who are experiencing the most acutely disturbed phase of a serious mental disorder, where some individuals present with acute distress and maybe an absconding, suicide, or self-harm risk. Griffin Ward is a 6-bed female only psychiatric intensive care unit which has a higher staff to patient ratio compared to most wards.
