Introduction The Learning Support Centre (LSC) are specialists in neurodiversity and disability and have been supporting people across the UK for over 20 years. LSC offers flexible support tailored to individuals in education and the workplace. Benefits Working with an innovative and award-winning company Working with an accredited training centre with access to training and development opportunities Access to our latest communication hub with live updates and support Responsibilities of the Role Provide one to one study skills tuition to clients with Specific Learning Differences such as dyslexia, enabling them to develop independent learning strategies to compensate for their learning difference To be able to adapt approach according to the changing needs of the individual learner you are supporting whilst working within the Learning Support Centre’s Quality Assurance Framework Deliver tuition according to The Learning Support Centre guidelines and code of conduct to ensure tuition is delivered effectively. Essential Requirements Educated to degree level Teaching qualification such as a PGCE Level 5 accredited qualification or postgraduate qualification in SpLDs Professional memberships with (at least) one of the following: PATOSS (full or associate membership) BDA (full professional membership) ADSHE (professional membership) Dyslexia Guild (member, associate or fellow membership)
