Job Purpose:
As Group Procurement Buyer, you'll take responsibility for managing and optimizing the procurement of indirect Cinema Operations services. Working cross functionally to achieve best commercial value for ODEON Cinemas Group.
Key Accountabilities:
* Reporting to the Group Procurement Category Manager to support the Cinema Operations, Facilities & Utilities categories activities across all European territories.
* Responsible for the procurement of indirect goods and services, ie; cleaning contracts, consumables, waste management, safety & security.
* Execute the group’s procurement category strategy across Europe with direct alignment to the overall company strategy & objectives.
* Facilitate varied procurement category needs; from applying category strategy, executing competing tender priorities, running category reports, and promoting procurement best practice.
* Monitor and support category purchasing and contract risks minimisation.
* Maintain key supplier relationships, monitor suppliers’ performance, and ensure service level agreements & key performance indicators are met.
* The role holder will be required to work collaboratively with all stakeholders when advising on procurement related enquiries and support the review & implementation of procurement processes & systems across the Group.
* Analysing and managing various different data sets to support category strategy and implementation.
Key Skills:
* Previous experience within an indirect procurement buyer role
* Experience of running and managing tenders
* Proven project management skills
* Stakeholder and supplier management experience
* Positive and open mindset within a commercial environment; Able to work collaboratively within in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload to achieve timescales
* Strong communication & developed influencing skills; with an ability to “take people with you”.
* Self-driven and motivated to achieve the required results, at pace
* Comprehensive analytical & PC skills
