This role will see the successful candidate reporting to the Group Quality Manager, responsible for assisting with ongoing and new issues within a manufacturing environment. There will be a duty to maintain compliance of approvals held by the company and carry out internal AS9100 and NADCAP audits as required. To succeed in this role, concise and clear written and verbal communication skills are essential as well as an understanding of RCCA.

The Role:
* Assist in all matters pertaining to the work of the Quality Department
* Assist in making provision for training of Quality staff
* Keep manuals, expositions and other systems documents up to date and on the server
* Conduct internal audits within the group
* Liaise with production personnel regarding technical queries
* Liaise with customers on quality and technical quotes
* Liaise with auditors over the quality auditing of the facilities and systems with reference to existing approvals
* Monitor existing systems and instigate changes and/or originate new systems
* Assist with the control of sub-contractor/supplier records and ratings
* Monitor the scrap note system and assist with the issue of reports
* Carry out root cause analysis and, with production's assistance, put in place the required corrective actions
The Person:
* Good knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001
* AS9100 and NADCAP auditing experience
* Good knowledge of RCCA
