This is an exciting opportunity, the Taymouth Castle project incorporates such a diverse range of functional areas from golf, landscaping, gardening, farming, outdoor pursuits, field sports, member services, food & beverage teams, culinary, housekeeping, spa and wellness to list but a few. 2024 provided the exciting opening of the first phase of our refurbished castle, offering luxury suites and food & beverage areas for hosting members and potential member visits. We want to create Managers and Teams who are confident operators, delivering fantastic service and love what they do. This role requires a charismatic hands-on Training Manager who relishes a challenge and can work in a fast-paced environment as we build out our teams and facilities. We need to set our team members up for success by bringing out their people qualities enabling them to shine and have fun with our members to create first class experiences. Currently a workforce of 140 this will increase further as the project develops and members start building their houses.,
* Set our new arrivals up for success with a focus starting with orientation, skills training, customer engagement and soft skills, train the trainer certifications, health and safety and setting up career development opportunities.
* You will be able to deliver engaging and innovative training, empowering our teams to impart fantastic service to our members.
* Build a culture of teamwork and support.
* Establish a network of trainers across all departments, delivering train the trainer coaching, to drive and deliver job skills training.
* Be an ambassador for our brand behaviours and values, recognising and rewarding our Teams and supporting the development of our people and growth of talent throughout the Club.
* Improve and drive standards through hands on training and operational support across the Club. Work with each area to build out apprenticeship programmes and integration with education establishments.
* Participate in our Health & Safety Committee and drive policies and procedures to ensure our Team know how to work safely. Work with the Health & Safety Co-ordinatior to implement and monitor Compliance training and certifications as required across each business function.
* Create and deliver training materials for both central training activity and department delivery.
* Work with Supervisors and Managers to build strong people management and leadership across all levels for structured succession planning and development.
* Work as 'one team' within the Talent & Culture function.
You will be passionate about learning and development and love working with People in a fast-paced environment.
* Ideally, you'll be engaging and compassionate, a confident communicator who can integrate well with new Teams and have a flare for building relationships and trust.
* Previous experience of establishing an in-house training function would be an advantage, but not essential.
* You will have experience of designing and delivering a wide variety of training material across various levels in a customer facing business.
* You may have previously blended qualifications and in-house delivery, apprenticeships and worked with local education providers to set up development programmes for those living locally.
* You'll have experience in the service sector such as Hospitality and understand how to engage others in delivering personal service in a luxury market.
* Have good level of skill with Microsoft packages, PowerPoint, LMS systems, writing on-line and classroom training.
* Experience of developing and personally delivering Leadership development programmes.
* Due to the geographical layout of the Club facilities, it would be a distinct advantage if you are a driver and have access to your own transport.
* We want to have you on-board ready to start in April 2025.
