We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to play a valuable part of the team and help deliver our growth plans.
The Email Marketing Specialist will be instrumental in planning, creating, and delivering B2C email marketing campaigns. These campaigns aim to engage our audience, enhance brand awareness, and drive sales to help achieve our business objectives. This position is ideal for someone eager to develop their digital marketing skills, while working closely with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
Main duties
Email Campaign Support
Assist in the planning of email marketing campaigns. Campaign types include e-newsletters, promotions/sales, and company updates.
Design, test and schedule email sends using email marketing platforms.
Collaborate with the Ecommerce Team to ensure an optimised customer journey from our emails to the website.
Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Team to create engaging email creative and copy.
Performance Tracking and Analysis
Monitor key performance metrics, such as sales generation, open rates, click-through rates, and unsubscribe rates.
Support the preparation of campaign performance reports with insights and recommendations.
Help maintain clean email lists through regular data audits and updates.
Automation and Customer Journeys
Assist in setting up and maintaining automated email flows, such as welcome emails, abandoned basket emails and order confirmations.
Learn to segment email lists based on customer behaviour, predicted intent and demographics.
Work with senior team members to improve email personalisation strategies.
Compliance and Best Practices
Ensure all email marketing activities align with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
Stay informed about industry trends and email marketing best practices.
Contribute ideas to enhance email marketing processes and templates.
Who are we looking for?
A-levels or equivalent qualifications (degree in Marketing or a related field is a bonus but not required).
Basic familiarity with email marketing platforms is essential.
Understanding of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
Basic knowledge of HTML or willingness to learn.
Previous experience of email marketing.
Interest in digital marketing, ecommerce and customer engagement.
Awareness of GDPR and email marketing regulations.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good written communication skills and a creative flair.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a proactive attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines. Occasionally with a tight turnaround.
