My customer are an incredibly innovative software services companyin the Identity credential managementspace and are looking to recruit a Training Consultant who is ready for a new challenge with occasional international travel. Salary - £45,000 Pension Health stock options hybrid working- 2 days in the office per week. The role:- The post holder is required to create training materials and deliver training to spread knowledge on the companies product family. The position is a hybrid role and requires you to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week. Occasionally, international travel will be required to deliver external training to clients, although this may be infrequent. You may be required to have an appropriate level of security clearance and therefore should be willing to undergo appropriate security clearance vetting. The primary responsibility of the role is to provide training services to customers, partners, internal colleagues and to formulate and produce online training content. Experience required:- It would be advantageous to have experience as a trainer in the IT/Software sector and/or experience in one or more online Learning Management Systems (LMS). The ability to understand new technology and effectively communicate are key requisites. You will ideally have a proven career in software engineering, sales engineering, or testing. Responsibilities:- Delivery of internal training to staff within the company one to one or in groups - both in terms of product awareness & in depth learning about current features, as well as information about product enhancements as part of formal release handovers to various departments or ad hoc as a result of knowledge gaps as highlighted from performance reviews. - Deliver training to partners and end customers as necessary either in my customers offices or on the customer site as appropriate. Some overseas travel will be required. - Preparation and completion of online modular training material for the companies range of products and services. - Create and update training materials in support of the activities above. These materials may include: o Powerpointslides o How-Tovideos o Tests(exams) o Courseplans - Assisting other teams with creation of materials in support of product demonstration, documentation, and marketing activities - Create levels of training certification, for external customers and partners, with appropriate training classes and levels of progression (e.g. CMS Certified Admin (CCA) Level I, CMS Certified Admin (CCA) Level II etc) - Maintain and update training records to track course attendance. - Maintain personal knowledge of products, applications, and associated technologies. - Regularly gather and review training feedback and identify areas for improvement, including training delivered in person and through the LMS - Empower other staff to also deliver training (e.g. train the trainer) relevant to their skill set & role Technical skills and experience:- Ideally educated to degree level ideally with a strong Computer Information Systems and Information Technology competence. Fast learner of new technology and software applications. Analytical, resourceful and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Ability to respond to change effectively and with a sense of urgency. Good understanding of software development skills and methodologies. Effective written and spoken communications. Excellent personal presentational skills. Must be able to communicate complex ideas effectively. Be able to collaborate with senior colleagues to ensure that the training delivered is appropriate in content and style to ensure that Intercede personnel are trained to maximise their contribution to the company. Knowledge and experience in the following are beneficial: Cybersecurity Industry. Identity, Credential and Access Management solutions. Personal Identity Verification (PIV) or similar card standards. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Certificate Authorities (CAs). Hardware Security Modules ( HSMs ). Smart Cards and other Security Tokens. Business analytical skills and ability to elicit technical requirements, communicating the problem and proposed solution effectively. Experience deploying IAM products. Experience working with external customers delivering bespoke product training. Experience interfacing with internal teams, such as Development, Product Management and Customer Support. Knowledge of Microsoft and Apple Operating Systems. Understanding and practical hands-on experience with SQL Server and SQL query language. scripting language experience would be advantageous (javascript, PowerShell and SQL) Understanding of Networking and ability to troubleshoot network issues.
