This role is essential in supporting the governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitating effective board and committee governance.
Key Responsibilities:
Meeting Coordination & SupportAssist in preparing and distributing agendas, board packs, and governance documentation.Manage logistics for Board and committee meetings, including scheduling and technology setup.Attend meetings to take minutes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of discussions and decisions.Support governance improvement by building relationships with board members and understanding business operations. Governance & ComplianceEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly within the insurance industry.Stay updated on changes in governance legislation and best practices. Documentation & Record KeepingMaintain accurate records of Board and committee meetings, including minutes, resolutions, and action items.Assist in developing and maintaining governance policies and procedures. Stakeholder Engagement & Project SupportLiaise with Board members, senior management, and external advisors to facilitate effective governance.Provide support on governance-related projects, research, and process improvements.
What We're Looking For:
