Isio launched in March 2020 out of KPMG UK’s pensions practice and has grown to over 1100 people working across 10 offices across the UK.

Apprentice IT Support Engineer
Length of programme: The offer of employment will be on a permanent basis. Apprentices will be supported in working to complete a Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship over 12-18 months.
Location: 1 Colmore Square, Birmingham B4 6AJ
The expectation is that this role requires working in the Birmingham office 4 days a week for the first 3 months and then moving to 2-3 days in the office – the other 2-3 days home based.
Entry Requirements:
Applicants must have the legal right to work permanently in the UK and be available for full time work by the end of June 2025.
What you will be doing:
1. Support user base of 600+ pensions orientated employees and support staff via Telephone, Service Desk and Teams communications.
2. Log calls on the Service Desk in a timely consistent manner.
3. Organise and triage new calls.
4. Categorise and correctly prioritise calls.
5. Follow documented procedures and processes.
6. Update the Knowledge Base with useful tips/info when required.
7. Reset passwords / set-up accounts across all types of Microsoft & Isio systems.
8. Interact and gather further information from users to help further diagnose issues/requests.
9. Set up and configuration of Smartphone mobile devices to the organisation. Ensuring users can get emails on their device, can use the Office apps and can use the mobile as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
10. Carry out their duties and any ad hoc requests that come from the Senior or Officers, with accuracy and professionalism.
Training and Development:
This role includes support in working through a Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship leading to a formal qualification. Additional internal training and development opportunities will also be available for both technical and non-technical skills and behaviours.
What we are looking for:
1. High motivation to work in IT.
2. A good understanding of different IT devices; laptops, mobile smartphones and tablets.
3. Enthusiasm and experience of demonstrating a high-level of customer service.
4. Can demonstrate a good level of attention to detail.
5. Effective writing and verbal communication skills.
6. A good ability to self-manage their time ensuring they are able to maintain progress with their work and off the job learning in the Apprenticeship.
7. Intermediate to strong understanding of Microsoft Software including:
1. Windows Version 10 and 11.
2. Microsoft Office applications including Office 365 and Teams.
This is a 1st line support role with lots of exposure to systems for future learning as well as progression to other support roles.
