The Business Analyst will work as part of a multi-disciplined team to manage a customer’s requirements through the project life cycle from initial analysis, requirements definition, documentation and development through to testing.
They will be responsible for communication of any requirements to the project team as well as the wider business audience as necessary.
Essential Experience
* Experience working on large Central government digital transformation projects
* Experience of using appropriate tools, methods and techniques for information capture and information modelling to document and understand the structure, relationships, process, and information flows
* A proven background in efficiently managing own workload
* Experience of working with external clients and third parties
* Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualisation techniques and tools
* Experience of working within a portfolio, programme or project team environment
* Agile techniques such as defining user stories & acceptance criteria, story mapping, wire framing
* Experience of working with project methodologies in an Agile software development environment
* The ability to manage own projects and workload prioritising where necessary
* Demonstrate dedication and a strong sense of customer service
* Ability to provide balance between customer needs and client operational interests
* The ability to take on a Project Lead BA role upon request, delegating work, reviewing documentation and providing estimations where required
