Job summary Worcestershire Royal Hospital Acute Frailty Unit Ward Clerk Band 2 Full Time - 37.5 hrs 12 months Fixed Term Contract Avon 4 is a busy acute medical ward that specializes in frailty care. You will preferably have experience of working within a hospital environment. We require a motivated, enthusiastic individual with good communication skills and experience of dealing with members of the public. You should be organized and able to work on your own initiative and prioritise your workload. You will be dealing with visitors, patients and telephone enquiries and be willing to undertake a variety of administrative duties on our busy ward. Computer literacy and good keyboard skills are essential. This post often involves with you being the first point of contact for patients and relatives and a calm, friendly attitude is paramount. You will work as part of a motivated caring team and be seen as a valued member of staff. Full training will be given in all aspects of the role including the use of all data systems.
