Salary: £81,394.31 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time)

Overview:
Compass Associates is pleased to support the recruitment of a Speciality Doctor for a well-regarded healthcare provider based in Hook. This organisation provides specialist care for men with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, as well as women with learning disabilities. The service operates a low secure and locked rehabilitation model, offering a stimulating environment where professionals can grow and develop their skills in psychiatry and mental health care.
In this role, you will work alongside a Consultant Psychiatrist to deliver high-quality care through psychiatric assessments, care planning, and direct medical support. You will also have opportunities for professional development and will play a key role in the ongoing clinical governance activities of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments to determine appropriate care levels for service users and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on care planning.
* Prepare discharge summaries, reports, and attend CPA meetings under the supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist.
* Engage in professional development through learning activities and clinical governance.
* Participate in the on-call rota, provide medical cover, and support physical healthcare and emergency treatments.
* Take responsibility for clinical tests, ensure timely follow-up on results, and assist with blood samples and medical procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
* CCST / CCT (or equivalent) in Psychiatry.
* Experience in an inpatient setting with patients who have significant mental health and learning disabilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
