We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a customer service mindset, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. As a Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal professionals by managing various administrative duties, maintaining organised files, and assisting in the analysis of legal documents.
Responsibilities
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to solicitors and legal teams.
2. Assist solicitors in handling RTA, Housing Disrepair, and other cases.
3. Manage and organise case files on the firm's case management system, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
4. Assist in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence.
5. Handle general office administration tasks as required.
6. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings to gather information and provide updates.
7. Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates while managing calendars effectively.
8. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal standards.
9. Assist in the analysis of case materials to identify key issues and relevant facts.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
2. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
3. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Essential Requirements:
1. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
2. Basic IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
3. Genuine interest in pursuing a career in law.
