Consumer Additions are pleased to be working with a global beverage brand for the recruitment of a Digital Media Buyer.
The role is an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend. The role is based in their office London 1-2 days a week.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Develop and execute a comprehensive digital media buying strategy to effectively reach target audiences and support key brand and product marketing initiatives.
* Plan and manage media buying across the full funnel – from broad awareness platforms to retail media.
* Use creativity and innovation to maximise insights and enhance the effectiveness of media placements.
* Conduct in-depth research on target demographics, consumer behaviours, and media trends to inform ad placement strategies.
* Stay up to date on industry changes, including ad platform updates, algorithm shifts, and regulatory considerations.
* Implement media plans across various digital platforms, negotiating placements and securing the best possible deals.
* Monitor, test, and optimise media performance against planned KPIs, ensuring maximum ROI for campaigns.
* Analyse audience insights, market trends, and competitor activity to refine targeting and messaging.
* Prepare and present regular performance reports, providing clear insights into campaign effectiveness.
* Oversee financial administration related to media buying, including processing invoices and purchase orders.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align media buying strategies with broader marketing objectives.
What You’ll Bring
* Proven experience as a Digital Media Buyer, whether agency-side or in-house.
* Strong background in negotiating and purchasing media across the full funnel, from brand awareness to retail activation.
* Expertise in digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, Snap, and others.
* Understanding of SEO, SEM, and additional digital marketing tactics.
* Hands-on experience with media buying tools and technologies.
* A track record of delivering high-impact, full-funnel digital media campaigns.
* Passion for digital marketing and building memorable brand campaigns.
* Strong analytical skills with a results-driven approach to campaign optimisation.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines with efficiency.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills.
* Experience with digital partnerships and retail media is a plus.
