Product Manager
Location: London (Flexible Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £65,000 - £72,000 (DOE)
About the Role:
This incredible and scaling company is looking for a Product Manager to join its growing data team. This role is pivotal to scaling their industry-leading fintech app, used by over 23 million users worldwide.
You will manage a small squad, contribute to roadmap development, and drive impactful solutions for users and partners through effective data strategy and delivery. This position requires a balance of technical understanding, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills to influence and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and coordinate a squad while aligning with two other squads.
* Build and maintain a roadmap to drive the company’s growth and maximise the value of data for users and partners.
* Act as the communication bridge between the data team and other parts of the organisation, ensuring alignment and transparency.
* Collaborate closely with the Chief Data Officer and your line manager to define and execute the data strategy.
* Translate complex data needs into actionable user stories and requirements
* Advocate for data within the organisation and represent its role in driving business decisions.
What We’re Looking For:
* A strong analytical mindset with critical thinking skills; experience transitioning from a Product Analyst to a Product Manager is a plus.
* Mathematical and numerical aptitude, with the ability to navigate ambiguity.
* Proven ability to manage internal negotiations and communicate effectively with leaders.
* Technical understanding of data systems and tools (e.g., Data Bricks, SQL)
* Experience working where the product is data or software OR B2B products, particularly those involving software or data solutions.
* Passion for outcomes over output, focusing on user impact and delivering fast learning.
