Lambourne End Centre are looking for a Senior Learning Programme Instructor to support young people on the Centre’s Learning Programmes, which use a unique blend of farm, garden, adventure and environmental activities to engage young people in outdoor learning. The main aim of the programme is to help improve the health and wellbeing and promote the personal development of young people who are at risk or struggling in traditional mainstream environments. The programme is designed to encourage team building, problem solving and communication skills, as well as build confidence and raise aspirations. Suitable candidates should have: A commitment towards helping young people who face challenges, to achieve their potential through outdoor learning Relevant experience or qualifications in working with a range of young people with a variety of educational needs A commitment to nurture young people in nature The post is based on a 35 hour week, but will involve flexible working. Due to the nature of the work, the post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
