Newcastle Psychiatric Liaison Team is offering an exciting Band 7 Clinical Lead opportunity. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate collective leadership to work within the multi-disciplinary team and closely with the senior management team.
As a clinical lead, you will be expected to provide support, advice, and supervision to the team and ensure operational efficiency of clinical pathways. The clinical lead will demonstrate excellent clinical skills and knowledge in working with service users covering a wide age range from 16 years and older.
Main duties of the job
The main roles of this post are to provide clinical leadership and expertise in formulating treatment plans and interventions within the scope of our MDT and service. The successful post holder will also provide clinical supervision & guidance on service users requiring ongoing review and treatment.

Education and Qualification
* Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Registered Learning Disability Nurse (as appropriate) or equivalent relevant professional qualification
* Relevant Clinical Training and post-graduate Qualification
Skills and competencies
* Excellent communication and liaison skills.
* Organisational and time management skills.
* Experience in working in Access service environments
* Experience in working across multiple care pathways: 16-18 year olds, Working age, and Older Persons pathways
Personal Characteristics
* The ability to motivate others
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
